The article is about the level of use of facebook in the U.S. It showed a decline in facebook users. I agree that I use facebook a lot less then I used to. I used to check it daily- but now I only check it if I get an e-mail that I received a message or to add pictures. Every time I get on it seems like I have done of application requests and advertisements and it annoys me so I’ve changed from using facebook as a daily means of staying in touch with old friends and now use it only when i have an exact agenda or a ton of free time. I got really annoyed when I tried to see which Sex and the City character I am and had to invite all my friends to see my results- my friends don’t want that.
Facebook used to be a way for college students to stay in touch with high school friends, meet new ones with similar interests, share photos and help remember the names of all the people you meet freshman year. Now its flooded with advertisements and obnoxious.
